Blessings to PW Discussion Board..
Forgive me if there's thread already exists that has remedy for my apprehensions. I created new one cause I wanna shoot a few questions I'm seeking understanding for from the enthusiasts..
I've recently sold my old car and my foes with my old ride were swirls and minor scratches. Initially I got married with this idea that ceramic coating was the answer but, after spending fortune, this realization dawned upon me that ceramic coating isn't for our environment. Now, don't get me rude, if you have ceramic done on your car and it is doing Jesus to your pain job, I'm happy for you. Just don't convince me to go to a better detailer and get it done for better results. I hope you understand.
Moving along, I'm getting a new car and I'm flirting with this idea to get my "new car" paper/vinyl wrapped to protect the paint job from swirls and minor scratches.
My few questions are:
Would it be wise to get my new car paper/vinyl wrapped? Say, if I buy white and if I go for paper wrap, then I would definitely get white film wrapped on my car. Again, I only wanna get it done for protection.
I've looked it up on the Internet but Google doesn't really have much to say about the cons of paper wrapping. However, I did watch several videos on You Tube though where cars' paint jobs were damaged when they tried to pull the films off of the cars. I mean, not all of them pulled the film off incorrectly, did they? I hope you see where I'm coming from.
2 (a) are there any cons?
2 (b) does it ruin paint job when you pull the film off after a year or months?
If you are familiar, which I bet you're, would PPF be rather better over coloured paper wrapping? Why yes or why not?
My location is a good hundred and fifty kilometres away from Karachi. Can you recommend me a good PPF/Vinyl/Paper Warp Installer who knows his sh*t?
I'd appreciate if you could hook me up with one.
Thank you.
