Brothers may I kindly ask if there is anyone Pakwheels that can help me in renting a vehicle in April 2013..

I am hoping to hire something less than 2 years old..

Toyota Altis - Black

Honda Civic Oriel - Black

import cars like BMW or Mercedes???? - Black can be upto 7 years old

I require the vehicle for 1 month period and looking to spend reasonable money... I think daily rates are max 2,000 pkr daily. Willing to pay 40% upfront as security or whatever the scheme is.

Please brothers i need a car for my sisters wedding in Faislabad.. Car will be stored at a compound with a security guard present at all times...

Hi.I live in Faisalabad and I've driven many rental cars.

First- Mehran and coure rent is roughly 800-1100 per day(12 hours).

Santro/cultus is 1200-1600per day(12).

Corolla(xli) is about 2500 per day(12) hours.

These cars are normally used as rental cars. Prices do differ from different rentals, depends. I used to get a Santro for 24 hours at only 1500 rupees. Got a old corolla on my birthday for 1500 too.

I'll ask a few dealers, I'll let you know:)

I've just phoned a rental guy in Abdullahpur and he told me these rates also, if you've spare time go to him and you know have a talk and see where it goes. He should be able to help you with a car InshAllah:) he either has it or knows someone who has.

Altis-3500 daily/ reborn civic - 4000 daily. Obviously you can bargain;)

rent a car with driver - it may be inconvenient but you will have peace of mind and zero responsibility for safety security & maintenance. You will be paying rental only and in-case of break down / or mishap you get another car without delay or legal procedural work.

People not living in Pakistan have very civilised way of doing things. Insurance & relying on law for support. Both are absent in Pakistan, absence of law enforcement & insurance non-existent for rental vehicles any mishap may lead you to regrets only.

Thanks to @capsat for pointing this out, this is great business in Pakistan.

They give a defective car to a not so technical person and without driver. It gets messed up and the customer gets the bill" Japani hi dalwana hay". They take the money, install cheap china stuff and waits for the next victim.

My first time in a rental car- the CV joint outer boot came off while parking, had to push it:) Luckily owner was nearby and got it fixed for free DO get a driver. Minor scratches do also happen, at least you will only pay for fuel etc.
