Nice one. I had the 5d mark II for a while so i know the feel to it ... 1ds would be amazing to use... recently just shifted to nikon and dont think will be going back to canon any time soon

I thought of doing the same when D800 came out i am a big fan of D800 but cannot make the transition as i have an army of L series lenses and flashes so a system change would be a financial stab

Yes i love the L lens.. i sold them one by one .. took a while tho. But try d3s or d800... amazing tools

I wouldn't say poor mans full frame... The lens still has to be the expensive ones for it to work..... It's a very good camera but after I used d700, I am sold to it.... It doesn't make video but the high iOS performance is just too good for me to ignore
