Please advise him to stay away from sonata etc, i mean all Korean cars. They do seem to be a bargain n have a lot to offer but they are not gud at all a few years down the line. They are not as comfortable as German or even Japanese sedans. they say "If u cant make a gud car, make a car with a lot of gud features" thats what the Koreans have done. Stick to German or Japanese cars instead.
Around 5 months ago, one of my teacher who was in dubai asked me for advice on buying his first car there. the budget was almost same as ur brother. but there were literally 100s of cars to choose from. u can get a brand new suzuki alto and or a 15 year old S class or 5-10yrs old jaguar for that much. so first, ur brother needs to decide how much can he spend on the up keep of the car. if he can spend a gud amount on that, then consider buying a merc. for that much he wud get an awesome C class 04-05 or may be even same model E class. or 2002-03 S class in very nice condition but it ll cost more to maintain.
if he wants to enjoy a bit of luxury with a little less budget, then go for Accord. do go for camry, its the taxi car there and plus, camry is just a larger corolla, not much other then that. Accord is the car that i finally suggested my teacher to buy n he did...
