Buying an unregistered car

I am buying a car for the first time in my life. Its an unregistered Honda City (not from a dealership or showroom, its an investors car). Can someone please tell me what's the buying process, which documents I should check and when should I hand over the payment. I am located in Karachi.

1st check the odo meter reading of vehicle. Trip A Trip B & Main digits.
if it has 4 digits run it is not new but an unregistered USED car., bargain for a used vehicle price.

Then check the invoice for engine & chassis number cross check it physically over the vehicle.,
date of invoice & the delivery challan date. both shall correspond to each other.

investor vehicles are used abused and disposed at premium price.

unregistered invoiced cars will be out now days with lil low own-rate because of year end.

However, buying it no harm if the purchaser gets it registered before taking the delivery of the car.

Keep it parked at the dealer-shop pick it after getting the slip from excise under your name, this process will help you for a clear-chit for car docs and history of individual on the invoice. As for the car take a trust worthy friend/car dealer who deals in new/used cars and go through with the car with physical examination and its instruments/tools in the trunk, glove box car book, car keys.
