Buying a car as a 3rd/4th owner. Is the price generally lower?

Okay so I'm buying a 2018 model corolla. Its on second owner's name (which i came to know just today). Inspected the car and everything turned out fine. The body, engine and everything else is in great condition. Maybe a few scratches here and there but no dents, only the rear bumper is painted which isn't a big deal.
I'm getting a good deal on this car, around 100k less, though considering the actual price its a small percentage. Now I also saw many people selling and keeping their cars on open letters in the market. Does being a third owner impact the resale value or the time it takes to sell the car again? I might want to switch in 1-2 years to a brand new car. Don't have much experience with cars, want to know if being a third owner has any disadvantages if the car is less driven and in good condition?

No DISADVATAGE At all..

its good if the car is on Owner name, People never trasnfer the car on there name and keep it on Running papaer AKA 1st OWNER Car lol , but in real its been sold 100 times to multiple people. So if the Owner is available who bought the car from Showroom Directly and he is 1st owner then he will be there to tell everythoing about the car.

IN general Dont worry about 1st owner 2nd owner thing, my preference is that Car should on owner name who is selling the car, not broker.

Secondly Always Trasnfer the Car as soon as you buy it. Because if it got snatched of stolen you will be the Owner of it .

Always ask for people who are selling 1st owner car, 99% will not be the Owner but there CHACHA DOST MAMU ki gadi will be the owner to show the Relationship and that will be a BROKER in real.

if car is not accidnetal, Engine is good, Suspension is good, tramission is good , then you must go fir it.

And you’re right about the first owner thing. Met a guy just a few days ago who was selling a car claiming to be the first owner, when I asked further he started saying it was on his cousin’s name and that the cousin lived in Lahore somewhere whereas the car’s registration was from Islamabad. It was an instant red flag for me.
Its probably better to be a rightful 3rd owner compared to a second owner on paper. Finding a perfect combo i.e first owner driven, good condition and so on is not an easy task. Guess its better to go for the car based on its condition, drive and feel.
Going to go for it and get the car registered on my name as soon as I complete the purchase tomorrow.

try buying the Owner name car which the real owner is selling instead of 1st owner car sold 100 times but never trasnfered.

If the real owner is not available, the car is Fishy and anything can be happened in future, if its get trasnfered on your name but still you would never know how the othr person get the car, either few family disputes can bring back the car to real owner and buyer need to find the person whom he bought from it.

So the Owner selling the car on his name is more Reliable then all those 1st owner AKA open letter cars, AVOID them.

Nothing more than that. Few scratches are part of our country where any Rickshaw bike can easily touch it . you can fix it in future but car must be running smoothly and giving you pleasure of what you are paying for it !
