Brother, I was facing the same issue with suzuki's original break shoes and then my mechanic told me a way to improve brakes. There is a shop named SHAKIR CLUTUCH PLATE WORKS at city saddar road near marble shops (who make name plates for graves) and charpai shops, who remake the used break shoes. Once I installed that break shoes trust me breaks were so improved and also it was economical. The price is 500 for both front back brakes.
Please note that if you have original break shoes in your bike then he will install original one in return (please make sure) and if you have Chinese break shoes previously installed in your bike he will give you the same with new leather.
One more thing that is notable and very very important, when you go there please ask him k,''bhai 0.5-1mm ka play rakhna ha lazmi''. Ask him 2-3 times till he rubs the leather infront of you. If you dont give the gap/play between leather and drum it will affect your drum.
I installed the same breaks before my first trip to Kashmir and it was worth it. These local made break shoes easily sustains 25000+ kms depending on how you use them.
Hope it will help.
Happy Travelling
