Go for something better. Like 325i. You'll get the proper feel of BMW like that. I've owned both, 325i and 318i and trust me, 318i doesn't feel like a BMW at all. 325i got more power and feel of a proper BMW. But then again, it's personal choice.

My 318i. Looked much much better then 325i with 19'' Ac Scnitzer wheels, body kit, tinted windows, exaust system etc but didn't like it at all. Still got the 325i.

Skyline ... I think for 318i you have replaced the tail lamps with the LED's one. My colleague bought a 99reg with different tail lamps.

I am planning to upgrade to 318i too but the colleage who bought a 99 reg 3-series told me that go for a face lift version. Now what is this face lift version of BMW 318i. She says that it has improved number of interior gizmos plus some additional features.

Does anyone know what is a facelift version of BMW318i.
I have a slight feeling that 2002-2005 model 318i or 325i are face lift versions. Their front shapes are slight different (slightly improved too) Any one help.

Just interested as not having plans to live for good in UK
