Best Spark Plugs for Honda Civic 1.5 Turbo

Hello Members...
I own Civic 1.5 Turbo and its on 40k on odo. I heard many members to change its Spark plugs between 40k to 50k. I just wanna ask simple question which is the top notch Spark Plug for Civic 1.5 Turbo.

Top notch kia... attey hee sirf eik manufacturer k...i.e. NGK.
One is packed in honda packing and other are packed in Honda packing.
Buy from trustworthy retailer to avoid risk of gettin fake!

Only option is to get the NGK ILZKAR8H8S, which are the factory plugs for this car. There aren't any after market options available.

Brother, do not believe in Suni-Sunai baatein. Just strictly follow the maintenance schedule as per your car's owners / users manual, and take steps accordingly. If it says to change at 40-50K Kms, then you may change them, otherwise, if they are not creating any problem, and schedule says to change them after 60-80K Kms (let's say), then change them after that much interval.

I am of the opinion that if any component is working absolutely fine and not creating any issues, then no need to do any chaaeer-chaar with them.

I know of only 02 reputed brands regarding spark plugs; DENSO and NGK. You can look between any of these two brands and buy the plugs which meet OEM requirements.

The civic 1.5T kills the spark plugs very quickly because of our terrible fuel. It's a GDI Turbo engine. If you give it crappy gasoline, the plugs go bust in no time.

I got it. Any rear break pads good brand in mind?? Honda is asking 25k for just rear break pads they say it reached its life. If you know any good brand of rear pads pls do let me know that as well

I have an Oriel and bought its brake pads from this guy Bilal of 10th Gen Facebook page. Authentic stuff he has. Pads are original Honda but rear he gave me were made in Italy and front made in Thailand. Got both at almost 40% less than the ones offered by dealership

Now that's something extremely strange, and I am surprised to know about it.

Btw, what does the car's owners manual say regarding changing of spark plugs? What's the recommended change interval?

Having both oriel and turbo side by side only maintenance difference i encountered was spark plugs at around 60k km odo reading on turbo i have changed plugs twice and the performance jump is outstanding. With worn out plugs civic turbo is very slow performance etc very weak car even struggle to pass 160kmh but with new plugs it passes 160kmh like anything. While considering sparks plugs dilemma related to pre immature ignition timing to counter our low quality petrol however if you are Islamabad based and use attock company operated pump, plugs can have 50k km life easily. Plus on good note while GDI engines carbon buildup is very common but with new technology earth-dream L15B7 in turbo this issue is not reported.

Contact partscentral: they're selling original brembo Italy brake pads in Pakistan. Stealerships are looting people. I get all car parts from this guy.

earth-dream L15B7 in turbo this issue is not reported.

Are you sure? Carbon build up on intake valves is normal in terms of gdi engines. You have to use liqui moly proline throttle cleaner or CRC valve cleaner spray at every 20k kms to keep valves of gdi healthy.

No i mean to say it will be present in all GDI engines but in case of L15B7 the concentration of carbon is less compared to others.

If it's your third set at 40000 kms then you are probably like flooring the car alot and you must be using regular fuel (which is now alot better compared to old 87 ron fuel and will now work well with turbo charged engines but still not good as hi octane though) you should use hi octane fuel for your car
