Best/Shortest Route - Rawalpindi to Okara

AoA all.
Just need to ask what would be the shortest (but still reasonably easy to drive) route from Rawalpindi to Okara.
I can think of 4 possible routes:

Route 1 (468 km): Rawalpindi to Thokar Niaz Beg via M2 and then N-5 all the way to Okara. I assume there would already be some relief in traffic on Multan road after opening of M-3.

Route 2 (523 km): Combination of M-2 and M-3 till Samundari and then exit towards Okara. This is almost 55 km longer than Route 1. But makes maximum use of Motorways.

Route 3 (396km): Google Map suggests this as shortest route. Take M-2 till Pindi Bhattian. then M-4 till Sahianwala. Then Canal Expressway till Satiana Road.Then drive via Satina, Tandlianwala till Okara.

Route 4 (444km): Combination of M-2 and M-4 till Gojra interchange. Then drive via Gojra, Samundri, Tandlianwala etc. Exit from Painsra and reaching Samundari via Dijkot is also an option in this route.

Any brother, who have personal experience of traveling in this area and can comment about general condition and traffic situations of roads?

Never ever think about Satiana Road towards Tandianwala. I had a worst experience almost one and a half year ago....and believe me it was a nightmare for me...kindly confirm from anyone else who has a recent info of Satiana - Tandianwala Road.

Brother these are my findings
Route-1: You will face bad jams upon exit from M2, and its wastage of time and fuel as you have best alternate Route available. (Experienced)

Route-2: Its good one but when alternate is available which is shorter, then why choose the longest way to approach OKARA spending extra Fuel and time also. (Experienced)

Route-3: The Best route till OKARA, Road Condition, you will cover InshaAllah very fast and easy approach to Okara. its shortest route and save Time and Fuel. Don't forget to eat NAAN TIKKI at Railway Phattak towards Exit from Okara to N5, its really Tasty :)(Experienced)

One more thing regarding this route, if you don't want to touch local road, as its traffic changes time to time, and also when we drive on road like motorway & then leave towards local road, its become hectic most of the time, therefore stick to Route 2, which is no doubt clean road, with less traffic, though it have greater KM's but still have same time to approach Okara.

Route-4: No need to touch when best one is already available.

How about the road condition from Samundri Interchange till Okara?

Finally traveled twice from Rawalpindi to Okara. Took exact 5 hour with just a 10 minute break.
The best route is M-2 till pindi bhattian, then M-3 till Sahianwala exit, then Canal expressway, Samundri Road till samundri, then bangla gogera and finally Okara.
Road is excellent throughout. Samundri to Okara is single i.e. 2 way road. Remaining all is motorway or double road.

can u share the exact location?
Is it towards multan side of Okara or Lahore side?

its on main entrance side towards Railway crossing (Phatak) if you are coming from Multan to Lahore, then it will be on Left Side.
