Best / Recommended Engine Oil for Honda Civic Turbo

I've spent a lot of money on purchasing civic turbo which eventually means that I won't be selling this car before 7-8 years which also means that this car is going to accumulate around 150,000 to 180,000 Kms. Now, I also want to keep the engine in perfect condition or maybe near to perfect condition even after 7-8 years. Now for that I need to get the right engine oil grade to protect my engine from wear and tear. 0w-20 is too recommend for this engine but obviously it can't give a good protection against wear and tear inside the engine but then 0w-40 is kind of too thick for the engine to produce great amount of power as the turbo engine sgould. This leaves me with 0w-30 but my only question is that will this grade help the engine to last till the above mentioned mileage?

Bro if 0w-20 is the recommended oil grade for your car and is also clearly mentioned in the owner's manual, you must stick to it! Trust me, engine 3 lac Kms + baad b kahein nai janay laga! IN SHA ALLAH

Bro, no offense, but ye aap ki assumptions hain; Engine manufacturer does not think this way.
If Honda has recommended 0w-20 for Civic Turbo, then its based on their R&D and vigorous testing.
Koi abc copany ho, banda maan b ley, but if 0w-20 is clearly mentioned in your user manual by Honda, you must strictly follow it. Rest, your choice!

Dont listen to anyone consult your owners manual, and follow routine service schedule, these people designed your car and they know the beat, if 0W-20 is recommended in manual then you must use 0w-20, only thing you need to make sure is that you buy authentic and real oil as many Jaali Fake oils are sold in market, like I dont trust any retailer and buy my oil from zic online website, zicoil.pk, they offer free delivery and you are 100% sure of authencity of the oil,

Other than ZIC, Caltex Chevron, Shell and Total Quartz 9000 Future series are another good options in 0w-20, But before buying any oil, make sure that it's % genuine and original, from some well reputed brand, fully synthetic, and with API rating of SN.

I would personally recommend Total Quartz 9000 0w-20 in all these 04. Or Just buy any brand with repute and value for money, and keep change / drain interval of 5000 Kms along with genuine and OEM recommended oil filter change; that's all and enough for perfect engine health.

Honda Earth Dreams' is a TDI (Turbo Direct Injection) engine which later on came up with the issue of engine oil dilution. For this particular problem API(American Petroleum Institute) came up with a solution of SN Plus standard. Please use any 0w20 with SN Plus standard. Before any brand specs matter more.

Any of 0w-20, 5w-20, and at max., 5w-30, would be perfectly all right for your car's engine.

Shell offers fully synthetic in 0w-20 and 5w-20.

Total offers fully synthetic in 0w-20 and 5w-30.

I have been using 5/30 that is honda prescribed, from honda service center, but later I switched to 5/30 MOBIL and experienced amazing results.. my car produced improved power especially while accelerating, while it lagged to an extent earlier.. so I would recommend MOBIL 5/30, which can be bought from any reliable seller such as Filter House ..
