Best Ophtalmologist in Pakistan

Hello,
I am searching for ophtalmologist (Eye Specialist) in Pakistan, where ever Karachi, Islamabad or Lahore. Actaully I am not in Pakistan now so I've decide to come to Pakistan to treat my disease, becouse here the day of time is too large and I also have go on by private and by private I already have spent upto 1500 € for my EYES. now I've the reports of my disease (transplant of my cornea) but I want to come to Pakistan so I also can visit my country and more cheaper...

I've searched in Doctor Finder.PK, Pakistani Doctors database, Find a doctor or specialist near you but I want to know If anybody knows better (physically met) any doctor?

I think you can find eye specialist in "alshifa eye trust rawalpindi" its very famous eye hospital across the country.

I dont think you will Find any good Doctor in Pakistan who will charge you less then 1500 euros. Typically here if you get it done by some well know or good doctor it will cost you around 1.5 to 2 lacks. which will include the surgery + the room fee(i guess they keep you for 3 days at the hospital)

As per me there are Two places In Lahore which are well know. One is near Hamid Lafit hospital and Doctor Qasim is the guy. Second one is At back Side of Sadiq trade center gluberg

I had to do a surgery here in Canada. They gave me an estimate of 4000 CDN for it. I went to Pk and contacted Dr Wajid In Al-Shifa. He operated it and Alhamdullilah I am alright. I am back here and so far , every thing is good. Drs in Pk are pretty good. Dr Wajid Have won awards too. He is dean of Al-Shifa Eye Trust Rawalpindi. With Clinic in Islamabad, Blue area he also checks in Pindi Hospital to Private patients. Apart from him, Amanat Eye Clinic has a very good repute tooo.. My Bro in law is Eye surgeon too but he is in MH. If you send me the reports, I can send it to him and ask him which dr is specialized in this kind of disease.

I didn't understand your question, I'am coming to pakistan (this time by plane, next time by road, I also started a thread of coming from Spain to Pak, but at the moment I've postponed untill the situation improves in baluchistan and all over pak) for personal and also can operate my eye....

Please state what disease you have and which surgery has been advised to you. I am currently doing my ophthalmology specialization i might be able guide you to some good surgeon. Please remember there are about 14-15 sub-specialities in ophthalmology. So sub-specialist surgeons deal with specific area of the eye.

I don't know the exact disease but the doctor told me that this case is a special if I am going to treat in any other country he will monitor me. he told me that my corneal upper cover is little bit inside instead of outward, but only in the right side eye...sorry guys I can't tell any more in english he told me in spanish I didn't much fluidity in english...

There are many hospitals in Karachi. Some of the famous doctors are Dr Akhter of Akhter eye hospital, Dr. Hashmani of Hashmani hospital. There are some doctors who only see particular cases like Dr Azam of AKUH only see cataract patients, my mother got operated for both eyes by him.
Liaquat national hospital also has good doctors like Dr. Imran Ghayoor and Dr. Atta Ur Rehman

As per my experience Dr. Amer Yaqub from The Eye Consultants is the best choice. His hospital is up to date with latest equipment and highly trained staff and doctors. Highly Recommended.

Al Shifa is a trust eye hospital they give treatment depending on donations. If some one want the best eye treatment I would highly recommend private setup of The Eye Consultants.
