Best Oil For Wagon R 5w30 or 10w30?

i have clocked my wagon r to 50k kms and was wondering which oil would be good for my car now. This retailer told me that the only difference between 5w30 and 10w30 is oil viscosity at cold start. Once the engine starts running and temperature rises both oil acts same. I live in Karachi where is mostly hot all year round so he recommended i should go for 10w30.

The retailer is correct. 0W/05W are usually for colder climate where viscosity plays an important role for cold engine start up. But that is generally not an issure for our weather. So you should be fine using anyone of them. At the end of the day, both oils will have the same thickness once they are at optimum temp.

Bro 5w-30 will offer better start-up, but still, 10w-30 is slightly thicker than 5w-30, and their kinematic viscosities are also different.

If engine and engine oil ain't giving any issues, I would suggest to continue with 5w-30, and if you want best for bucks, go for Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30 with genuine oil filter.

Regarding hot weather, cold weather, summer, winter, etc. Are all myths. Just always pour in engine oil recommended by the OEM.

10w40 as recommended by Suzuki but not using it anymore cz average bohat kam mil raha tha

Go for 5w-30 if your car engine is in perfect condition..you will get good average and performance

Bro stick to 5w-30 (fully synthetic, if possible)

if you got the vehicle brand new or a clean non-repainted vehicle

check under hood over the driver side fire wall there is Yellow & Red Suzuki Sticker.
it mentions use of SGO 10W-40 Genuine oil from Pak Suzuki

you can use any brand but stick to either grade oil for best fuel efficiency
