Best Mobile package for Internet & Skype

AOA,
I want to ask you that i want good econmical package of mobile in which skype works round the clock means monthly internet bundle.

I want to give such sim to my family so that when i am out of station, i can talk with them from skype on my laptop or mobile to my family mobile

which mobile operator giving good rates skype service(internet) monthly

i checked these:
ZONG.. Monthly Internet Package

what does this means that in 200 ruppes monthly i can use internet 24 hours & keep my skype connected online 24 hours

i want such facility

please suggest me as i am totally dumb about mobile phone, internet on mobile & mobile packages

i also searched on net this:

so answer in this sequence:

Q1. above link of zong & warid are good according to my requirement of 24 hours online of skype

Q2. in warid 10Mb, what it means, how MB skype eats if i talk for 1 hour & 10 MB will finish in how many days

Q3. unlimited meaning? how much i use, i have to pay just monthly 200 Rs. or whatever rate

Q4. best mobile signals coverage in flats ( currently tried ufone but dying signals in flat, in open air seem excellent

Q5. signal coverage speciially in karachi, which company is best

speed is primarily operator dependent and then secondly on device

Telenor will give you better speed, as it is dependent more on the operator and less on the device.

Best package in my opinion.

Hmmm...
All operators (or atleast Warid,Mobilink,Telenor) work on EDGE.
When using EDGE ask mobile company to give you settings for EDGE.
Both EDGE(EGPRS) and GPRS are crap and Slow.
Speeds are about 10 to 150 kbps.
Skype Video won't run properly. It sufficient for Browsing web and emails.

Zong according to my knowledge has about 2GB (not confirmed).
Warid has 10MB buckets for about PKR 30.
I think you can get Warid unlimited too for PKR 500 rupees.

To run Skype Video you need at least 256kbps connection (512Kbps recommended).

if u want to run skype for texting all over the day then Zong bucket package @ 200 Rs per month is best.
video / audio chatting will be difficult.

on personal experience for telenor
as above guys suggested service is really very good and coverage remarkable as signal coverage are problem in khi specially in flats

but beleive me now i will suggest everyone having signal issue go for telenor

coming seriously to topic, i am telling after experience, do share your experience

i had before ufone & mobilink which i change to telenor & zong but zong signals are excellent but only in range where they are present, the range is problem specially in flats, they are not working but where they come, they have strong strength

Warid provides 2gb limited data in 500+ tax mean its not unlimited and not good for Skype.
Telenor also provide 2gb limit in 500+ tax
Zong is giving unlimited in 400+tax but i m not sure about its Gprs or Edge Base.

hello guys ...

i wud like to share my XP ... ima regular user of mobile phone companies internet .. ive an Android handset and im a professional TECH reviewist at a well known IT portal ... i ahev tried almost every cellular internet bucket packages ... lemme tell u sum stats ...

first of all .. exclude all other companies except of TELENOR or ZONG if going for EDGE or GPRS or can call Data services ... as they fool u ... that they have EDGE connecticity and they lie .. they DONT ... plus the signal strength is very poor warid , ufone and mobilink all ... they give u only GPRS data transfer rate which is 2G ... so in short dont go for them ...

now talking abt telenor ... unlimited package is only for post paid customers ... for prepaid u get only 90MB data package max. which is valid for 30 days ...

post paid unlimited also has a fair use policy of 2GB data limit .. but its more then enough for a mobile device ...

calculations ...

if u go for a telenor postpaid monthly unlimited package i:e PERSONA ...

that'll charge u 500Rs + Tax which comes to round about 606Rs or more in total including tax ... plus wth that there is no Zero line rent package on PERSONA, the least package is 100Rs + tax line rent per month ... so all in all .. u'll monthly expanse would be around 750Rs aprox ... in total ... because u cannot get a data package only u have to pay the line rent as well ... no doubt telenor has the most reliable internet service ... but in 750Rs u can get a Broadband connection is as well

Zong to me was quite affordable and speed is a lil and a very lil less then Telenor ... the good thing is .. Zong charges FLAT 200Rs no TAX for monthly unlimited package and it also gives u 2GB data Limit ...

so paying 200 Rs a month for a Mobile Data internet package .. is not a bad deal .. and i personally used SKYPE on it .. video calling 2 way means both sides .. it was wrking quite good .. a few jerks but that is acceptable .. i was amazed ...
