Best Engine Oil For Honda Civic 2014 Oriel

Assalam O Alikom,

I have Honda Civic 2014 (77km done) Currently I’m using kixx 5w-30. Someone suggest me to use 20w-50. I’m totally confused. Can any one help me out.

Wa Alaikum Salam.

Continue using 5w-30. Kixx fully synthetic 5w-30 is a good engine oil. If you wanna switch, then switch brand only, like Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30, but not the engine oil grade. You are using recommended engine oil grade.

If you are using 5w30 Id say continue with it but change to liqui moly.Im currently using liqui moly 10w40 in my 2013 civic and it drives just like new and I felt a day and night difference when I shifted from Honda's oil to Liqui moly.4 litres of oil costs me about 5400 but does drive well over 5-7k km depending on ur usage.

Just bought civic 2014 50000 km done previous oil not known so at one famous workshop recommendation use kixx 10w40 in my car I ask is it ok ?

Not okay use 5w30.Avoid these so called famous workshop recommendations.Say to them just pour the oil in no buts.50k km is nothing for Honda engines

Instead of 10w-40 by Kixx, I would suggest 10w-40 by ZIC, being fully synthetic.

Still... 10w-30 by Caltex / Havoline seems a better option, provided your car's engine health is perfect.
