Best Engine oil for Altis 1.6 2012

Dear friends kindly recomend best mobil oil to us in my altis 74000km driven. I have recently purchased it and poured petron by toyota 10w 30. But not satisfied as i obsrve some what heavy engine sound after replacing oil and no good fuel economy. I am not intrested in expensive oils and more inclined towards Zic A or A+ but not able to make decision as mileage is 74000km. Not sure what to do. Kindly guide

10W-40 is fine

digits before W is the ambient outside temperature for a cold start while the last 2 digits are the viscosity coefficient at engine operating temperatures.

10W-30 is thin for 74000 km engine - at next change without hassle use 10W-40 oil - of known brand ( SHELL -Helix ) from some known shop

Use original air filter and oil filter. Change air filter at every 10k kms and change oil at every 6-7k kms.

There are two types of 10w 40 on their website. Whats the difference between them? And if 10w 40 is g9od then why not ZIC

I rad on the bottle that it is best fir cars with mileage over 100000 km? But mine is only 74000km. Will it not effect the engine in long run. On the other side i was using Zic A in my liana from around 60000km and before that zic A+ and when i sold it thr engine was in prestine condition at 94000km and sounded like new.

People are also recoomemding me to contiue using toyota 10w30 in winters and switch to toyota 5w40 (tin pack) in summers. Kindly any one who have this car withis mileage ur response is needed ss iam pretty much confused. I require oil which produces min engine noise and max fuel efficirncy for 74000km car.

it is your car and it is your pocket which pays for the fuel & maintenance.

unless you are operating in areas where the outside temperature remain in single digit during winters, it is SQUARELY recommended to use 10W-40 engine oil through out the year with change interval of 5000+ kms.

Present day lubrication engineering & OIL blending has been highly advanced and producing long drain interval engine oils explicitly.

if you desire to experiment engine oil grade of 0W-5 from mobil is now available for Rs. 7000 for 4.35 liter imported bottle.

As far best are concerned I can recommend you these only.

Mobil 1 0w40 api sn
Mobil 1 5w50 api sn ( i know a person who have same car as yours, and driven upto 420,000kms without any issues on this oil. I’m also using the same in my 2016 1.8 cvti without a single issue and drain intervals of 10k kms)

Liqui moly synthoil hightech 5w40 api sm (used for 15k kms, good oil, drain intervals of 8k kms only)

Total 5w30 (imported oil, some friends are using and giving good reviews about it)

All of these oils are fully synthetic

Dear brothers
I bought a toyota altis 2017 in jan this year, it had 58k on ODO Meter. Ex owner told me that he used shell 0-20 , but somehow i ended up using liqoumolly 10-40.Now i hav driven upto 65k, now i want recommendations that which oil should i use , shud i continuou with liqoumolly 10-40 or change it
