Best engine for corolla e120 2004 for best avg and power

Aoa brothers . My corolla 2004 is a se saloon 1.6 3zz fe after driving for 18 years engine wasnt working very well i did an engine overhaul but it started making problems again so i swaped it with 1nz fe this engine is not giving good avg and power is not so good as well can anyone give advice on any other engine which can run without much problems with balanced power and avg like 1.8 L or 2.0 L

1nzfe is best for your car. Check compression of your engine healthy engine must have more than 150psi across all cylinders with difference of 10-15psi at max. Is the engine wired properly and check light is on? Mention your city so i can recommend you a person who can resolve your issue.

I live in quetta city i checked the wiring and they said everything is ok and a full tank of fuel it gives an avg of 430 km at best without a/c

Not sure if in E120 you swap 1ZRFE engine, In manual it has ample power and decent fuel economy.

Well it can be done but it will require alterations which machanics here in my city cant do the swap perfectly and i was thinking 2zz ge 1.8 with auto transmission Or 1az fse 2.0

I've swapped 4 engines in mine, don't as why. But the 1zz is the best for daily use and everything overall.

1zzfe is the best engine for SeSaloon swap. Did it successfully long time back.

In Quetta you should have not problem finding these, from 1.8 Premio/Allion/Luxel

I would go for 1ZZ or 2ZZ. Your current engine should be doing ok. Get the wiring checked by a good electrician and scan it.

2zz is gutless and torqueless below 4500 rpm

Can you calculate tank to tank average?
Like you
1. fill the tank full
2. reset the trip meter
3. drive it until reserve light
4. Then fill it again and not the liters it took to full
5. Divide liters with the kms to get the average.

Also don't overfill it, stop when it auto cuts

If you are changing to other engines for fuel average, I don't think so you will get it even with 1.8 or 2.0 engines
Because the swap process took place here is very bad.

Buddy i need power + daily i can afford the fuel costs and whats comedy about it?? My city is very congested There are 2jz/RB engines which has auto transmission+manual and 2zzge which is factory fitted in a 7th gen toyota celica it also has auto and manual transmission
