Well friends, finally the long wait is over and after several snags, glitches and change of hearts, by the grace of Allah, today I got the 11th Generation Corolla Altis 1.6. I owned a drove a 9th Generation black Corolla xli from Jan 2005- Jan 2015 for 134,000 kms and since then had been torturing myself on a 2013 Mehran  So for me it was an extremely pleasurable and rewarding change.

Thank you so much. May Allah bless you

Buhat buhat shukria. Stay blessed.

Congratulations on the new ride. Great choice. May you and your loved ones travel far and wide in reliable comfort and safety in this car.

First thing I felt was the ride height and while getting out I stumbled my shoes on the footboard and Indus has saved money here also by omitting the scuff plates. I think soon I will be looking for some good scuff plates to protect the paint there

Second thing I found the build quality way better than the 9th Gen. Comfort level too much much better. Seats gave a cozy soothing feeling. It's very roomier, could not pick a paper from dashboard near the windshield by stretching and extending my hand fully.

The interior is also very quiet and almost noiseless. I hooked up my Ipod with the multimedia and it churned out reasonable audio. The multimedia TFT display is also sharp and bright.

I enjoyed the drive and it felt smooth as silk. Butter would be a better word  The dual vvti 1ZR-FE feels great and the good old 4 speed Super ECT automatic transmission mated well to offer a responsive drive.

The car fared so well in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic at Islamabad Expressway. Rear view side and cabin mirrors provide ample back view. Seating position is awesome, one feels on top of everything. All in all it felt like "feather touch" operation. Very first relaxing and pleasurable 30 kilometers drive from showroom to home on all kind of roads.

Thanks VC. You are very kind. Stay blessed.

Atlast your wait is over ,you got it SIRRR  congrats!!!! ..really happy for your new baby ehh

Thanks. It really is

Congrats autophile bhai. Nice to see u happy with ur ride. We also have the same car in the family with bronze mica color. 1.6 is very responsive indeed n ride is very comfortable with corolla's suspension

The hood is really heavy and the trunk lid has liner that surprised me pleasantly. Doors are really heavy and solid. Central locking and power windows switches feel nice.

Air-conditioning is great, as it has always been in previous generations. Even on minimum settings, I had to finally shut down it.

Toyota Islamabad cleaners did not bother to wipe water from foot boards after the car wash. I did not create any scene because I know it's useless to take the stress of grilling.

Phone and address book paired nicely with multimedia via bluetooth. The multimedia is equipped with GPS and updates its time via GPS signals but it does not come with maps preloaded. I will buy Sygic maps microsd later. I inserted the files copied from a TPL GPS portable device, it ran the Sygic, but asked for an activation code.

I am keeping the Euro Stars as I do not drive very fast or race with fellow motorists :stuck_out_tongue:

During the first 30 km stop and go and bumper to bumper traffic and AC, got 10.4 kms/lit which his not bad for a new 1.6.

When I got the car's delivery, ODO was at 31. Shell Aabpara poured in some 55 litres. I did not feel any lag or knocking.

Congratulation! Atlast the most awaited lady have arrived -- God Bless the ride and occupants all the way ahead.

NOW is have competitor to talk with, will be sharing the staggering pictures of my ride too on your thread -

This Picture below is a killer view. -- Will Come to the Gentlemen's Club

Thanks. That is a really nice color. I wanted to go for some new colour, but medium silver got most of the family votes, followed by super white.

Yes medium silver would be the safest bet in corolla
