Automobile workshop / Mechanic in Islamabad

my mechanic is in pindi sadiqabad, if u can take the trouble of going there.
I have been in touch with him for 15 years now and no major complaints.

bought a 0 meter FX in 87 and sold it have driving , 250,000 km's
My experience is that the parts offered in the market are of so LOW quality that u have to replace them at monthly, sometimes at weekly basis.
i still remember in summers the excel boots had to be replaced at monthly basis in summers. Extremely low quality local manufactured parts in markets.
my analysis, problem was in the parts not the mechanics !

Has is 100% right about Suzuki parts
still its the same story.

Poor customers is happy that parts are available, no matter how bad they are Ultimately they are happy and are getting ripped off daily

I know of a mechanical engineer who has a workshop near Gulzar-e-Qaid (near airport). I always used to go to that guy before I bought a new Santro and started going to Hynudai Sowan Motors. The guy is definitely VERY knowledgable and expert in his field. Along with giving you extremely satisfactory work, he is also very good to talk to about wheels in general. The guy's name is Lodhi and his workshop's name is Lodhi autos.

Yup, non-availability of spare parts nearby is a big downside to the location of Lodhi's workshop. Also, the guy forces you to buy only genuine parts from people he trusts, else he refuses to work on your car, no matter what your budget is!

No he doesn't specialize in FX's but I am pretty sure that he should give you the time and attention that your car needs.

Besides that, I am sorry I can't help you with mechanics in Islamabad. I have a general feeling (with no offense to anyone) that mechanics in Islamabad rip you off pretty bad on even petty issues.

the oldest mechanics of isb are behind firebrigade khada market....
do u have suspension problems or someother?

most of the places mentionefd are out of Islamabad and perhaps difficult for you. My suggestion to you would be:

1) Baig Autos behind the fire brigade place and

2) Sunny Autos F-10 Markaz.

I myself am pretty satisfied with sunny Autos and currently get my stuff done from them because they're closer. Anyhow, my father knows Mr. Khalid at Baig Autos since the past thirty years or so. Hence, do let me know which suits you. I can talk to both.

Here's a mechanic how might help u....His name is yousaf khan. His number is 03335149239. His shop is in chah sultan but u don't have to go deep into that busy area infact if u come from muree road from islamabad side, after u cross chandni chowk and rawal road signal then right after the general hospital there is a left turn for chah sultan, enter this road then when u drive a little further, there will be a ahata called ahata mubarak and it's entrance has red walls, there u will find yousaf, ask anyone there......
