Well you do not need it but its police tactics. There is no harm in having it, though i have been driving for 10 or more years never faced such a problem

Depends on handling and case to case.. By law i dont think you need Authority letter

  • Regular Police can check for Car ownership papers & Driving License.

  • Your cnic with father's name and father's name over ownership is enough evidence.

however under Paternal Ownership any vehicle can be used without any issue across Pakistan. BE SMART
