Atlas Honda CD70 2021-2022

Aslam Alikum, Hi fellow Pakwheelers hope you all are fine. If you are active on social media. You might also heard of CD70 new sticker coming. And Finally its confirmed new graphics has been introduced and launch was done online. Usually when there is no change & its only sticker Atlas Honda does not organize any special launch event.

So this year if it was not Covid-19. They would have invited dealers and probably had arrange an event program. Look wise it is seems sticker change only. But thankfully they have done some changes actually they claim 101 changes. I have not seen bike yet. But posters have been released. Thanks, Finally they have done work on engine to improve its torque & power. Believe me I don't even remember how many times I have sent emails & sms's to Atlas Honda for this change. Alhamdulillah thank fully finally have listened to the feedback. I am pleased to see they have considered public feedback. As its not only me but almost all CD70 users complain low power CD70cc engine. And CD70 is the most used bike in country and this bike faces almost all challenges. I have not rode new CD70 nor seen it in person yet. But I wish these changes will have decent difference on pick & power of bike. Which would be no doubt loved by CD70 user. Some may doubt it might drink patrol but actually it works opposite in regular daily usage. And Honda claims improved mileage as well.

What 101 changes?

They are counting each fresh nut, bolt & washers fitted . Actually there are some good changes on engine hopefully they are worthy and improvement would be felt while riding new CD70.

Changed or polished/chromed?
If 101 changed are there, what about the accessories present in open market?

They provide support for old models for long time. You see even till today Ahl provide spares like old models filters , seat, cables & other accessories of cd70 & cg125. Regarding new parts they do training country wide to mechanics & provide new spares.

And they don't change shape of CD70 for customers convenience also its kinda they are doing ease for other parts vendors too who make after market accessories.

And Actually they are already offering two shapes of CD70. Dream version is complete changed version lookwise. But every year people complain CD70 mein mew changing kiyon nahein aa rahe.

This youtuber Waqar Ahmed very good mechanic himself runs very good channel. He has shared an great video of mechanics training. This video tells complete changings done on engine & some of exterior.

Hamari awaam tow just 1 STICKER change per boht he zyda khush ho jati hay ics tarah kay changes say CD70 nay koi rocket nahin ban jana ics tarah ki changes tamam companies kay normal routine work ka hisa hoti hain

Need major changes like install Alloy rims digital speedo meter fuel guage aor specially pillion foot rest still honay chaheian yay sub cheezain bunyadi zarurat ki cheezain hain in sub cheezon ka 1 bike mein hona boht he zyda zaruri hay

@Hassan1991 bigger gears & bigger cylinder size. I think this new cd70 won't have much effect performance wise. But lets see those who would ride could tell right. In advertising they are claiming "barha engine barhi power". Technical specification have not been shared by company yet.

@Vaqas1 this won't increase power figures of engine.

@hamikhan yar 70cc mein yeh cheezein nahein aani abhi tak 125's or 100cc es sahoolat se mehroor hai.

Cylinder is same. Those fins on cylinder doesn't give any performance only little more heat dissipation.
Squish area does effects the compression ratio. But at always they know how to advertise.

Here are updated specs. Rest everything is same its the compression ratio which is increased as told by Atlas Honda as well. But this should not be too much effecting on increasing top speed or pick shick. It might just enhance little bit torque & better feul burning so few km's more mileage than previous. If displacement was increased it would have given noticeable difference. I have heard people saying "koi faraq nahein" Although I wish there is some improvement even that would be accepted from Atlas Honda considering old weak kamzoor CD70 . Atlas Honda has Pridor in lineup if they increase cc like to those of chinese copies CD's performance would be nearly same as Pridor. So Pridor which already has low sales would almost die.
