Artega GT ready for release

Artega shown in Geneva, bringing all their appearance, but it was not perfect. GT did not have a functional gear motor and did not have a complete salon. But it is now known that Artega receive engine VW 3.6 liter VR6 and fully functional transmission DSG, a car weight of 960 kg total.

The Artega GT is designed by Henrik Fisker, the guy who designed the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and DB9.

i've added this car to my "must drive before i die" list,... i'm a HUGE fan of the VR6 powerplant and light weight chassis'

mid-mounted 3.5L V6, producing 300 HP and sending power through a six-speed DSG. the GT can climb to 60 MPH in five seconds and on to a top speed of 168 MPH.

Approximately 500 Artegas will be produced, with orders being taken in November and deliveries beginning sometime next summer. Pricing wasn't announced, but it's expected to be below the $100k mark.
