-- The one in pic grey african "congo" which is more preferred and expansive breed than grey african "timney"
-- the toughest part is to judge the sex of a grey african, there are a few differences at times but you can't be certain the only authenticated procedure is lab testing and generally a bird after having been tested is tagged with a ring like the one in the pic above.
-- grey africans are tempramental and generally make friends with one or 2 persons in a home, so it is advised to either go for a baby parrot or buy one which is totally friendly else it will take months of taming to just be friendly
-- do not buy wild grey african. Difference between a wild and tamed is that a wild one squeals in a very loud voice (such net for sample) whereas a tamed one doesn't even know how to squeal
