Assalam u alaikum guys. After alot of discussion with family and despite of me being in favour of used city , we have decided to go for a new alto. Now I love the features vxl gives except it's auto tranny due to which my father is oriented towards vxr. But vxr gives no value for your money in comparison to vxl. What you guys suggest is better in terms of reliability of auto tranny Vs manual and is it worth spending a little more on vxl as compared to vxr.

what a horrible decision this is gonna turn out to be.i feel sad seeing people happily spending 20 25 lacks on these 12 13 lack worth vehicles.
No sir you see it from other side I think 20-25 is now 10-12 lakh so you need to come to new realities of our country simply see in 2007 an Alto was around 600K where as civic was around 12 now see you can get 3 altos in price of civic so be realistic.

VXL is better option if it comes in your budget
VXL is better in almost all aspects, you can use it as a manual as well, rest it is the purchaser's decision, go for what you like, not what other's like or value.
