Altis Rims on Xli Corolla 2009

Hello every one,

i have plans to put in an Altis side skirt, get mirrors, mud guards and all 4 door handles painted this week, (If I can ever find some time)

Any ways right now I wanted to show you guys how would an XLi (without side skirts, and painted parts would look like on top of Altis Rims.

try taking out the front silver grill.ruined all looks of the car,,u can get a black 1 which is easy available.

Without the Side Skirt and Matching Mirror and Door Handle its not giving the Matched look. Try to get the Honey Comb Grill for your ride, it will look Sexy

Grill issue will be solved. Even the black honey comb is getting too common these days. But i iwll look into it. I have seen a few on shops around here and all were pretty bad quality.

LOL any one who wanna come into this house with the intend of robbery will have few surprises.

Ok the Altis rims cost me 28 thousand. There are three qualities available in almost every Tire shop in Faisal Town.

1. Chinese Cost around 17 k to 18 k

2. Taiwan 28 - 30 k

3. Original which are taking off from Altis are for 50 + (As far as I know)

Ok will post more pictures once the project is done.

Masha Allah! Nice everything. Like other members suggested, remove the front grille. Try the original one with matt black finish. Secondly, when you do the paint job, remember to get it from the best possible place possible. It matters a lot. While painting the door handles, do ask the painter to slightly sand them before doing anything further.

These alloys look good even without side skirts on an XLi as they have resemblance with the OEM wheel covers that come with XLi.
And please change the front grill back to stock.
This one is not looking good.

Ok Point noted about the GRILL LOL

I feel like hammering out the damn grill. Sometimes when you buy anything out of an impulse reaction .... it comes out stupid. Like in this case.

Will go back to the original ASAP

Corollas are higer wen no people, and they get ajeebly low wen there are people in the back im not sure y, ive noticed it alot, probably soft suspension

@op, u said 3 qualities of rims, Genine. Taiwan and korean, which one did u buy, or are yours out of a Altis.

There is No CNG in this car. It's a 2009 june, Only driven 7000 km. I don't know why it seems to be higher from rear. Ever since i have installed 205/65/15 the whole car seems to be jacked up LOL And I always feel that Pakistani corolla specially XLI is higher than XRS, S and XLE ( I have seen them in Toronto and my newphew has a nice S model)

My rims are Made In Taiwan (Never trust Chinese)

@OP For how much you got these rims and from where?
Toyota Rawal were asking 80k for 4 rims. :-#
Then I checked the price from Toyota Islamabad in Aabpara and they were giving them for 35k. :S

lovely car.matching door handles and side mirrors look really nice.somehow i always liked the corolla without the sideskirts.i bought a brand new black 2.OD back in 2004 n then a new strong blue 2.0D saloon in 2006.got alloys on both but to me my simple 2.0D looked more decent n sportier without the sideskirts.theres a small somewhat sideskirt already in the xli/gli.i would first get the door handles n side mirror painted n then park it with an altis in same colour i.e in ur case white.if still the altis looks better then go ahead with the side skirts.side skirts usually reduces gr clearance by couple of inches aswell.our rds have high bumps n ive seen quite a few old model corollas with damaged sideskirts n at times the damage the body.n then afterall its an xli let it be!4 yrs ago a 2.0D saloon with ABS n an airbag,elec windows,leather steering n gearknob,side skirts,better interior,rear seatbelts!(lolz),map lites,fog lamps ... Top of the line was 400k more expensive than the bottom of the line XLI! today the same xli is selling for 100k more than the 2.0d saloon of same model n condition! So be a proud owner of an XLI!
