Aoa need opine about these two models which one is better option. Altis 1.6 2013 AT or GLI 1.3 2015 AT (New Shape). Value for money and comfort.

No its not underpowered, neither it has bad fuel economy. I own one, yes excitement factor is not there in driving but it does the job adequately well.

W.S. Both offer their respective values for money. Altis 1.6 would be more comfortable in comparison to GLI 1.3.

Given these options, I would suggest GLI. The latest, the better! Otherwise if model years, mileage, beating, etc. are same for both, then Altis would always be the obvious choice!

I'd go for a clean altis

Find yourself a clean altis sr in that blue color they came in the medium navy blue shade. Honestly great looking car and won’t be lacking in looks being that it’s not the latest shape. Most large cars in 1.3 with auto are in a way a bit underpowered.
A friend has a 2013 gli 1.6 auto high mileage too (160,000 driven) (same engine as altis) it does 170 with 4 grown guys in the car like it’s nothing for it. Very smooth and capable engine.

The later the better.

If you can get hold of a 1600 altis by stretching your budget it would be nicer. Else go for a 1300cc Gli AT.

PS: Doing 170km/h is not a reason to select a car.

What economy you getting? You sure 2nfe 84hp engine in 1270kgs bulky body is not underpowered.

Just concluded a trip from Multan to Peshawar! 15.3 total average i get and on M1 mostly @ 130kph speed, on M2 @ 120

Same average to my city aspire 1.5 but speed of 140 at 120 I get 16.5 easily.

Agreed, city should give better bcz of weight/cc ratio,But you cant compare a comfort of Gli with City.

Only comfort in corolla but you have to compromise on road grip handling and sporty drive.

Handling of facelift is also much much better.
