AGS or Transmission issue?

Hi i recently bought an used alto ags 2019 mode with 60k km on odometer in a bit of a ln hurry i didn't got it checked or scanned, the Gear light came on after a few days later,
I searched out for schedule maintenance so it terned out that it's time to replace the clutch & pressure plate when i got it checked by mechanic he said the same thing that clutch is slightly worn out but he suggested me to keep driving it so out of curiously i searched the internet for issue regarding AGS it tern out AGS has a lot of issues

I've seen an add on olx of alto ags converted to CVT,
Q: does changing clutch set & changing the fluids solve the issue i'm having??
Would i end up changing the whole transmission??

AGS is a cheap alternative to a conventional/CVT automatic, therefore it has its drawbacks but you cannot call them issues.
Just change the clutch plate/pressure plate no need to change whole transmission.

Dont let it slip in 2nd gear in future and this issue will not bug you.

Reached out it previous owner,
Turns out he had most of the work done
Clutch & pressure plate were changed

Got it scanned has an accumulator failed code

Get the accumulator opened and cleaned and also change gear oil. It happens when car is driven on dirty gear oil for far too long. I doubt your car is probably driven way more than 60k. Might be meter reversed.

I have 3 Alto Ags 20 -21 models in family all around 60 - 70k driven and none of them have any transmission issues.
