Need to know if these oils work good with civic engine or should i go for something else
Any good 0w-20,0w-30,5w-30,5w-40 will better. Shell, Total, kixx, liqui moly, Aisin all are good. If you can afford then 0w-40 Mobi1 & liqui moly are better.
I dont have many options here in quetta city and basically i dont know the diff btw all these oils only toyota petron, havoline and zic are available honda recommends 5w30, so pouring 5w40 is okay ? I have used toyota petron20w50 before but the mechanic told me not to use it not even in altis grande( keeping in mind indus motors recommend this oil for altis grande)Help me out pls
0w- and 5w- are thinner oils like0w-20,0w-30,0w-40 also fully synthetic better for new cars fuel efficient. 5w-20, 5w-30,5w-40 also like above. 20w-50 is the most thickest only for old cars. So avoid that honda & Toyota are just thugs. I understand your situation. I will advise you to use 5w-30 or5w-40 shell because they will be easily available in shell pumps. Also zic 5w-20 and 5w-40 is good. Always use original honda oil filters don’t use guard one it is just shit. Change 5w-40 oil after 7000-8000 km and 5w-20 and 5w-30 after 5000km.

Go to. SHELL Petrol Pump located in front of Saleem Complex. Buy Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 or Shell Helix HX7 5W30. Both are good for your cars engine and recommended. Remember this is the only pump dealing in genuine Shell products in Quetta.
One oil change outside authorised Honda dealership your Engine Warranty will void immediatly...no warranty claim for engine fault....pls verify from any dealership or even from factory surely you will get as I stated ...I am victim of that....very careful in warranty period
I live in quetta, no honda dealership here.
I don't want you suffer as I did...pls confirm from Honda.......in my case I even try to dodge them that I actually used Honda Oil but change was done outside dealership as a few hundred KMs still left...warranty manger told me even show me receipt which I didnot have...safe side write two lines for non availiblity of dealership.....send to Honda Atlas HQ and keep copy with you....ask any of your friend or even call nearest city I think Karachi to any dealership ask them to courrier you 3 or 4 oil packs..keep invoice of oil with you.....You can send them money via cheque...at least during warranty period you have to take this care ....after warranty expires then you are totally free.... if due to some reason fault arise...trust me they will never accept your claim if they find only one oil change from outside...tested and verified...
I hear Honda Dealership being opening soon on Airport Road. Hopefully it will be up soon.
