Why you ask? Because the latest iteration of Johnny Mosler’s mid-engine super car is limited to 305 MPH, a number more commonly associated with kilometers.
The "Land Shark" weighs in at only 1898 lbs (551 lbs less than the GTR XX) and is powered by a 381 cubic inch engine V8 that delivers no less than 2500 HP! The Land Shark can sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in just 2.5 seconds and hits the 150 MPH mark just 4.2 seconds later, but the ridiculous starts to happen 17.5 seconds after takeoff when the speedometer in this MT900 crosses 250 MPH, and keeps on going.
