BOL for the sale, its sad how so many people dont know about this engine, its a toyota 2zzge VVT-LI, 180-190hp stock, with valve lift technology just like the vtec. also its a very torquy engine!!

Us turbo ki tuning aka nakhre kaun bardasht karega? Especially considering there are very few people who do their homework while boosting an NA car, most just hack up whatever turbo sounds cool and blow up setups every 2 months.

Yaar yeh LI kya hai? Im hearing about this for the first time :|. Must be a damn good engine producing 180-190 with 1.8 litres, i always thought zz series was for eco daily driving

Its VVTL-i, not Li.
L stands for lift...well not officially but people like to say it stands for lift.

zz-fe, yes. zz-ge, hell no. any toyota engine with ge means it has a performance head [most probably developed by Yamaha], and overall a high performance engine.

I don't think that slapping a turbo to an high rev alloy Na engine would be suitable. You would have to spend lots of hard core cash to make the block safe for turbo applications.

The block is safe, it's the bottom end/internals that pay the price of incorrect tuning.

A 2ZZ is for front wheel cars right. So how is it possible to install it onto a RWD such as an MR-S. Just wondering since I don't know much about it
