• The impressive Ferrari 458 Speciale has been sold out for the first year, despite its starting price of $300K.
• The naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V-8 is now rated at 597 horsepower, although torque remains steadfast at 398 lb-ft
• Ferrari says it's the highest-output naturally aspirated Ferrari V-8 of all time, and that its 133 horsepower per liter is the highest ever achieved by a roadgoing naturally aspirated engine.
• The Speciale's weight loss, with Ferrari quoting a dry weight of 2844 pounds down from a claimed 3042 pounds in the Italia?which gives it a power-to-weight ratio of 4.77 pounds per horsepower.
• 0-60 in 3 seconds.The large twin exhausts coming straight out of the back end have given this Ferrari a much more serious tone of voice.
• To address grip, Ferrari introduced a new algorithm to its Side Slip angle Control system (SSC), which is said to make it easier to achieve car control at the limit. By performing real-time analysis of the cars lateral slip and comparing it with the computers target value, the system can dole out the power or not via integration with the cars traction control and the electronic differential.
• Seven-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox. F1-Trac traction control, E-diff electronically activated locking differential, CCM carbon ceramic braking anf F1 suspention system.
• You'll find no glove box, no carpet on the floors, not even an armrest on the doors. There is, however, a stereo, navigation, and an available advanced telemetry system that gathers data via GPS then lets you download it via an iPad or laptop so a Virtual Track Engineer can analyze and constructively criticize the performance.
• Optional stereo and navigation controls are on the dash, to the right of the instrument cluster. And all the important driving aides, mode selectors, and even the blinker switches are found on the steering wheel itself.
• With the Speciale's redesigned exterior, Ferrari focused on increasing downforce and drag when you need them. The center of the nose on the Speciale has two vertical flaps with a horizontal flap just underneath. At low speeds, the vertical flaps stay closed, directing air to the radiators. But at 106 mph, the flaps open, cutting airflow to the radiators and thus reducing drag. At 137 mph, the horizontal flap opens to balance downforce between the front and rear of the car. Turning vanes on either side of the front bumper and aero fins just ahead of the rear wheels also aid in downforce and stability.

So 100+ with a litre
That's remarkable

But to me
Mclaren mp412-c is best v8
