My first cousin who lives few blocks from where I live had a bad start to this week. He owns a 2011 Civic with just 7900 miles on odo meter. This weekend we went together to Canada and his car pictures can be seen on my Canada trip thread as well (post#6) https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/road-trips-vacations/212353-quick-trip-niagara-falls-toronto
The car was parked on the street today (Monday) and he was home when he came to know from a neighbor around 1pm that his car seems hit by someone.
There was street cleaning, so right side of the street was without any car. His car was the last on the left hand side on the street. An old women was driving an SUV when she lost control and flipped over. After flipping over the suv hit the civic and pushed it towards the curb. The damage can be seen in the pictures. Front bumper also need replacement as well as the grill as it hit the car at front as well. The car is bumper to bumper covered so nothing out of pocket, as it was 100 % other drivers fault, and only one driver was involved. Tow truck and rental car is also part of coverage. We dropped the car at nearby shop for repairs. By tomorrow there will be an estimate. I will post the estimate for you guys to see what else is in involved. Rear tire and rim and left rims will also be changed due to scratched face due to this accident. Police left a note on the car and the report will be available in 2 days and I will share that too. The women got shoulder and head injury . We came to know well after everything was cleared otherwise I could have shared the SUV pictures as well.
Edit: Just called the local police station and a cop sent me the picture. It was a car not a SUV. We were not there at time of accident and all information was relayed to us By our neighbor. Go to #6 below :D
