2007 vitz with no engine number

hello guys, got a vitz 07 newshape with no engine number.
imported it my self so plzz dont tell that sum one change the engine or sum one tempered it or im lucking at wrong place.
where there should b a engine number that place on engine is crystal clear so no one has removed it as well.
checked 2 others 07 vitz they both have engine numbers.
plzzz guys guide me wat to do knw.

If it is truly so(hard to believe),then better contact the seller ask him to either pay back or change the car because you have almost spend around 1M so if he asks your k through some resources or contacts he must be having he can get this problem fix,please don't let it be so. You have a right to have all titles,disputes cleared vehicle so either try to find the engine number or a new car without compromises.

The above picture is corect,
1KR-FE has a sticker on that place in the above picture.

Bro try decyphering the export certificate. It might have it. AFAIK i have not seen a single mention of engine number in import documents. It's on the engine block only.

to my knowledge, there is no engine number on jmport documents, as they ppl only rely on Chasis number,

there are only these two places on engine, one the embosed part, and the other is sticker, to my knowledge.

Were you able to find the engine number? I am in the process of buying a 2007 unregistered Vitz and during paper work I discovered that there is no engine number where it is suppose to be. Very similar to the situation you have mentioned so I am curious if you were able to figure it out.

The engine number is on the engine block and the car documents, the documents engine number should match with the number on the block simple refer to post # 5

The picture in post # 3 is of a barcode sticker that can be washed off while servicing/and remade if any one wants to so it is of no value.

check the engine block every engine block is bound to have the engine number on it.

I have vitz 2009. Engine Number is present on the part as mentioned above. ask any experienced mechanic to look for it. Take note that go to the mechanic who is doing the repair work on the cars imported now.

The chasis number is the body/Frame number of your car.

located under the driver seat, embosed on the body.

I am buying Vitz 2013, in registration bok the engine no. is written 1KR there is no number etc where as engine has a number on car.pls tell me is it normal or i should not buy it.

is it normal. I have checked on car the engine number is complete
