As Salam-o-Alaiqum Pakwheelers

Today I am sharing some information and pictures regarding my trip to various towns of Sindh which would be interesting for those who wish to have a relaxing time and want to enjoy the ride on smooth roads with beautiful scenes. As we all know that Karachiites have almost no places left in Karachi where one can enjoy the time with their families and keeping in view of this scenario; I decided to share this thread to give you a chance to plan your trip to these beautiful towns on Sindh.

Fuel Cost: PK Rs. 2500/-

Ride: Honda City 2006 (manual)

Distance covered : 395Km

Trip Started : National Highway

Trip End: Karachi Toll Plaza M9 (Super Highway)

Places covered: Gharo, Sakro, Sujawal, Darro, Jhok Sharif, Tando Mohammad Khan, Jhirk, Jhampir, Nooriabad, Super Highway (M9).

Night Stay : At my brothers' home at Jhok Sharif (Shahmurad Sugar Mills residential colony)

Trip details Second day

Started Journey towards Tando Mohammad Khan where we had breakfast and than left for Sir Agha Khan Road (covering Indus river) which leads to Thano Bula Khan road and it further connects to Hyderabad, Thatta, Kotri, Jhampir, Jhirk and Nooriabad. The road condition is awesome due to less traffic and we were warmly welcomed by the locals who offered us tea, fruits and vegetables free of cost. We spent around 6 hours in different fields of the farmers which were unknown to us but we never felt that they are strangers. They all showed humble and kind response towards their guests.

Maintaining an average speed of 100Km/h during the trip which is suitable / recommended with family on board

The River Indus (Sir Agha Khan Road)

Thano Bula Khan Road Towards Jhampir ..... Zoom in for a better view

Jhampir (Murtazaabad Town)

You can view a breath taking view of Kenjhar Lake from this town. These pictures are not enough to describe the beauty of this place. There is a famous "Dargah" and a Hindu Temple where you can spend a quality time with your family.

Jhampir to Nooriabad

Reached back home safely with some wonderful memories and a wish to do this trip once again in winter vacations

Siraj bhai awesome thread for Karachi people you said right that we don't have such place left to visit it would a great to visit these places in winter coz I've been some places of Sindh in summers but due to hot climate I could enjoy thats the main issue for me.

Thank you for the appreciation Rehan bhai. The present rainy weather of Sindh is most suitable for a road trip. You should also seen the beauty of THAR Desert after the rain.

i once spent 10 days in a Sugar mill (internal audit assignment) inside rural sindh. loved the slow paced, cool and calm life there esp when you are there from a jungle like Karachi. since i have no family or friends in inside rual sindh so couldnt make it again - although i would love to visit interior sindh.

The 1.7Km-long Sir Aga Khan Bridge connects Thatta and Tando Mohammad Khan. The longest bridge on the Indus River in Pakistan. You can see the pics above.
