Seems like in Pakistan only Pakwheels forum is where some sensible advice is available for the car.
I have a problem with my AC. It works fine when its around 30 to 35c outside but soon temperatures rises the AC stops blowing cold air.
Already change condenser, cleaned and serviced AC, tried 2 different used ac compressor (denso 17). I dont know where ro get new compressor thats fits 1kz te prado1998.
The compressor gets extremely hot when its stops working. I also feel the engine is creating to much heat although gauge shows normal engine temperature. Recently installed new radiator.
There is one other problem in hot weather my prado feels very sluggish compared to the night time driving. Goes to the top speed of around 135 kmh.
Please advise if something is wrong with engine or ac. No smoke or starting problem in engine.
