i have alto vxr 2007 i have installed 165/65/r13 tyres in it......problem is wenever 5 ppl are sitting in the car the tyres touches the fender on bumps............so what can b done?...................secondly my uncle who owns a good tyre business advise me to grind the fender piece that is abv the tyre mean that piece width is 1 inch he advise me to grind .5 inch of that than the issue will me solved........so what u ppl say abt it.........

i wana decrese the bouncing of alto vxr rear shocks mean i wana decrese the elasticity of the rear shocks widout placing spacers..........what can i do?

Hello rafay.,

I think you should make this confirm before wearing new tryes to your car, appearance is important but the car should run smoothly after making any modification.

Grinding the fences is acceptable if it does'nt change the outlook. and spacer will also change the look of your car as it will show lil extra space between tryes and fence.

It should not create problems as the original diameter is only affected by 0.3 inches.

The ideal tire size for alto in 13 inches should be 155/65/r13.

get the tires changed .. thats not the right size for the car.

another friend of mine suffers from the same problem.
either go to a denter and ruin the fenders

or go back to 12" rims

or ask the 5th person to go on cab....

for problem # 2, first check, weak shocks make the car bouncy. replace if needed

man what do u mean by ruin the fenders??........and yar the bouncing of shocks are even in new shocks of alto my car is driven almost 20k only

told u dear...only 2 ways

go back to old 12 inch rims...

or chnage yr spring with high load car...as i did

although ride will be a bit hard but it wont touch yr tyres

alto vxr has a big issue of its shocks...as they alot...and even when tyres a locked..the front body even touch the tyre but u never know...i have 3 cars doing the same thing

Dear Rafay if your Alto is on factory fitter CNG the car wont stop bouncing and if you could please take those 13 inches tyres out and put 155/65/12 or if you really wanna install 13 in it then go for 165/55/13 it wont touch the fender and please dont grind the fender b/c when ever u want to sell your car it'll creat problems for you

dude simply put spacers in car shocks go to any suspension shop they will increase the height dun grind it

Get lambey shocks and Lambey coils + lambey lambey bp spacers, your car will go like shoooooooooooon, Yamaha 100 !

yar after putting spacers the gap btw the tyre and body become too much wich look ugly and also the stability also suffers.................

get the proper tire size for your ride and your problem will be solved provided that they were not touching on the stock tire.

The proper tire size for alto in 13 inches should be 155/65/r13.
