Alhamdulillah, last night I came back from a wonderful road trip with my family in Suzuki Alto. Sharing some insight / highlights for anyone planning this kind of road trip.

Excellent still in Alto i mean once my relative came from jhelum to karachi i thought i could do this but at Hyderabad i gave up went back to karachi...

Now you can easily travel, only few bad patches & diversions in Sindh where roads are being made though I didn't find much traffic. It's better to take Sehwan / Qazi Ahmed Road after Jamshoro which is much better and will save you an hour.

Haha, rightly said. It was hard to control Alto on Motorways at 120.

So, we embarked on our journey from Karachi at around 10 am and made a brief stop at Hyderabad to indulge in the delectable Bombay Bakery Cake. Afterwards, we took another break at the Daewoo Express Moro Bus Terminal for snacks, tea, and Zuhr prayers.

we opted for Indus Highway (N55) from Jamshoro till Qazi Ahmed, which was relatively smoother and faster compared to the National Highway (N5) that had deteriorated patches, thereby saving us an hour. As we crossed Qazi Ahmed, we were greeted with an influx of heavy vehicles, bumpy patches, and numerous diversions on N5, which made the driving experience quite tiresome.

After a long day's journey, we reached our first night's destination, Pano Aqil Cantt, and retired to bed right after having dinner. It was our first encounter with Pano Aqil Cantt, and we were left in awe by the area's appearance and the impressive maintenance and vast landscape.

i did similar trip in my PKDM alto 2021 manual in Nov 2022. Khi to Lahore in one go, then Kasur border, Islamabad, murree. On way back - night stay in Multan then lunch in Sukkur and back to karachi. two adults and three kids and obviously lots of luggage. car never disappointed at any point in whole journey, only issue is of luggage placement as either it can accomodate passengers or big bags. however all went excellent and will go again InshAllah.

MashaAllah, you did trip with manual car, that must be tiring. Good to read that all went well and you enjoyed. Please do share total distance covered and average you get from Alto.

Placement of luggage is a BIG nuisance in this car obviously due to small size. I too had lots of luggage, placed two bags in the mini trunk space , spare wheel at back of passenger seat on floor, put some luggage on top of spare wheel and some occupied one portion of rear back seat. We were 2 adults & 2 kids.

total distance covered was 3500KM door to door. approx 150-160L was burnt being a safe estimate. me ne pichli seat fold kar lee thi, it was a PERFECT bed for children to play all the way and sleep conveniently. luggage bhi accomodate hojata tha is tarha.
