If the car is not underpowered when on full load (Ac+2 3 passengers), the car will indeed be a great value for money.
Do note that Chaghan X7 is a 4x2 car and comparable to the 4x2 Fortuner. Chaghan X7 with 300nm and about 180HP is superior to the 4x2 Fortuner with 245nm and 160HP. The inside cabin of Chaghan X7 with a large sun roof is also a treat to watch.
Considering that FORTUNER G (4X2 2TR Std Petrol) is available at Rs 11,579,000, Chaghan also offers much greater value for money.
However, it can't be compared with the more expensive 4x4 Fortuner that has a torque of 500nm and HP over 200. The car is worth the money at Rs 13,259,000.
You should update and inform us about the performance on highways when you inshallah get the car.
Believe me, it's no fun driving an underpowered car.
I have a Corolla Gli 1300cc (Torque 145nm; 114 hp) and it struggles to perform on highways due to relatively bigger size. The car struggles to gain speed when it slows down due to oncoming traffic or bumps on the road.
In comparison, my Civic 1800cc (Torque 174nm; 136 hp) of similar size seems like a rocket and much more pleasant to drive.
