AoA. I need help with the steering vibration that I have in my sonata 2.5 while I brake.
Car is smooth no vibration on speeds. I have checked it up to 160 km / HR. However when I press the brake pedal the steering starts to vibrate and the frequency at higher speed is more. As the speeds starts to diminish, frequency of vibration also decreases and vibration goes away when speed falls below 40 or at least is not enough to be felt in steering.
I have got balancing and alignment done, they are fine.
One more thing that i have observed is that front right rim is getting considerably more hot than the rest of the rims. While brake at 70 km / HR and above car is pulling towards left. While going straight with accelerator car pulls very lightly towards right and needs steering adjustment at motorway speeds
Mileage is around 26 k. I purchased it at around 23 k mileage. Last month I went to Hyundai Islamabad for service which included brake service as well. I feel that this issue started after the service.
Could this be warped rotor ? If yes can rotors get warped at only 26k mileage ?
