Well the car does not like idling and bumper to bumper traffic.
Too bad the car does not came with 5 speed auto. Otherwise your fuel economy would have been a bit better.
I am using shell v power, topping up tyre pressure to 32 psi every weekend.
In 11 months I have driven it 9500 km's, 2 oil changes. Used Liqui moly Ceratec and their fuel system cleaner twice.
Fuel system cleaner I am using as a preventive maintenance.
A thing I would like to point out, don't know whether you guys had the opportunity to experience it or not, we have a cutlus as well. To me it feels like, that initially i have to push the pica a bit to bring it up to speed like there is alot of drag on it where as Cultus comes upto to speed very quickly with very little throttle input.
Now there could be 2 reasons behind it, either the engine in cultus is really refined or 90+ kg lighter chassis is helping it or both.
Plus the fuel guage on cultus is really dodgey, first 3 fuel bars do not drop that quickly, I mean you travel 300 km's and the electronic guage will show that you still have 80% fuel in the tank.
So kind of has a placebo effect on you that you have this much fuel in the tank but in fact there is less fuel in it.
Other than fuel economy there is nothing going on for cultus, it rides a bit softer than Pica but build quality is really poor it's only 20,000 driven and it already has started rusting. On longer journeys you get really tired, specially pessangers on rear seat.
Peeps says pica does not have rear leg room, but is enough space and seats are super comfortable.
The 3rd gen pica comes with same engine, the only difference is they have overall strengthen it and chassis lost around 60kg overall in weight.
I plan on switching to light weight wheels(it will improve initial pickup, acceleration, steering and brakes becuase of lower mass on suspension) and low rolling resistance tyre's, still researching on tyres, short listed few but after reading reviews turns out what we call good are considered poor outside.
