Discuss the PK Domestic Model Picanto.Booking starts in August.Delivery in October.
Waiting for this car, hopefully the price it between Wagon R and Cultus with 1.0L engine
bhai jan, expect it above or equal to Cultus .. forget Wagon R competitive prices : )
and cherry on the top is it is the older version of Picanto, not the latest one.
BTW, i think Cultus looks better than this (however this is a subjective matter) !
Yeah lets see what will be the price is and yes Cultus design is decent, used it for one year.
Looks dont matter i think as far as the mechanics and other features are good value for the set price. As most if the JDMs look like "badsurat haseenas"
LOL, yeah right.. but still if they are in the same price bracket, i think Cultus wins the beauty pageant : P
Well looking at the Sportage price strategy I would speculate that Picanto price will surprise us and it will be competitive. They gave bundle load of features in Sportage so one should expect similar strategy in Picanto aswell..
One thing I am sure about is that the built quality will be far superior to Suzuki
Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best dr. sab : )
Will be looking for it... I might switch to Picanto selling my Passo 15
AgreedLatest gen picanto is cool But older one (pak version) is bit odd as compared to celerio,,,Atleast now there will be 2 cars available in 1 litre, picanto and cultus (wagonR is not a city car tho, that's small mpv)
@fazalwahab11375
Although a bit off-topic, but Fazal Bhai what about Kia Rio?Any updates?Especially regarding engine cc?
Eagerly waiting for it's launch, with engines between 1.2-1.4L (with / without Turbo).
1.0L engine in Rio would be next level of Na-Insaafi IMHO.
KIA RIO is not planned for local market as of now. If ever it came, it will or I should say it would be RIO sedan. I dont see a RIO Hatchback as its pricing will be in mid 2.5 range if I do rough math. I think for now we have Picanto and Sportage.. A Forte sedan might be next but as far as RIO its too early to say.
and surprise will include an introductory price and than a jump I think Picanto base model will be in between Cultus VXR and VXL while the other Picanto variant will be above Cultus AGS as far as Pricing.
Inflation has killed the buying power and I can tell many people/ potential buyers in this segment will not look for features
For Sedan segment I would be eyeing on two options1. Rio Sedan (againt Honda City / possibly Vios if it comes)2. Cerato ( full sized sedan against Civic / Grande)
any insight over possible features coming in picanto
Well, this is what I think.
2nd generation Two variants [ manual and auto]998cc engine 68hp5 speed manual or 4 speed auto.Driver and front passenger airbags.ABSSeem no ESC [ the displayed units not had it ]No push start [ again the displayed unit at Expo not had it ]155/70R13 tiresTop varaint will have alloy. Others will have steel wheels.Standard manual Air conditioner.Base varaint will have a radio with bluetooth. The top varaint might have LCD display with backup camera.Central locking standard Immobilizer standardPower windows standard.Steering wheel with trip control buttons.
Base price 1.7 Million.Top end varaint around 1.9 Million.
They should put 14s... 13s would be way tiny....I would say price to be around 1.6 & 1.8...
Maybe the top end varaint comes with alloy and 14's..
A person looking to get an Alto AGS on lease should probably wait for Picanto or not? Any suggestions?
Picanto won't be in same price club imo, I think introductory pricing in wagonr price club for 10 days and then an increase to Cultus pricing is likely.
