My observation is that it's like any other cruise, just with an added feature of sensing cars ahead.
In case it slows down a little from the set speed, it picks back up gently. While if the speed is reduced greatly (for ex. Down to 80/90, when it's set at 120), it accelerates wildly (downshifts a couple gears and picks up hard).
But then if I recall, Tucson also used to downshift too often to pick up. And if I compare the overall motorway drive, Oshan DEFINITELY has a better programmed cruise. Tucson/Sportage is more irritating, since it downshifts a lot (even at slight inclines), felt to be struggling more.
Secondly, I personally feel the suspension (with 1to 4 people onboard) is second to none. I've not driven a car more comfortable on broken roads than this. For ref. my comparison is with; Corolla, civic, Tucson, vezel, BRV, tiggo4pro. Oshan is by far the softest, with great seats and takes the broken roads very well. I say this after my recent trip from Naran babusar.
Let's update regarding the overall fuel consumption as well.
On motorway with AC and 5 people with full trunk and speed kept between 115-130 (mostly 120+) it managed 12.8kmpl.
For the whole trip (lahore -babusar-lahore) 1500km @ 11.8kmpl. and this is very respectable in my opinion.
Keeping all biases aside, this is definitely the best value for money vehicle in the market, that too by a good margin. Nothing even comes close to the VFM.
Size, power, features, comfort and aftersales network, all combined make this a very good offering.
