Still the best value for money crossover in the market, "HANDS DOWN".
Adequately powerful (superb performance, puts every sub 10mil ckd to shame in a zero to hundred run - even those wannabe Honda RS boys get a very very tough competition).
Extremely roomy. Nothing even comes close to the rear seat space this offers, and not to forget, the trunk space. I even feel bad when all the online reviews praise Haval h6 for 'superb' rear seat space. While this car has much much more leg space in the back. I mean Haval is definitely the second best, but still it's a huge margin behind Oshan X7 in case of rear leg space.
These 2 factors alone have forced me to keep it, since I don't feel anything else offers such value for money in our crappy inflated market.
🏻 for the person asking above; I've had it for a full year and 13000km including 2 trips to the north. No issues whatsoever. It's been very reliable for me. Though I've always driven with a mix of high-octane and that too with attempts to refill only from good fuel stations.
Sound insulation (especially wind noise from side mirrors at 110+) could be improved.
The overall "feel" of quality definitely isn't top notch. Shifted from a Tucson, and somehow kinda feel like this isn't as refined (but it's hard to point an exact thing why I say that, it's just the "feel").
Overall drive is very smooth. Drivetrain is flawless like any other offering. The suspension is extremely soft (I absolutely love it). If there's a crossover that literally feels like a mini Prado (slightly mimics the soft jhoola ride), in my experience it's this one. Tucson was pretty comfortable in itself, but this is even one step softer beyond it.
The size and road presence speaks for itself on the road
Had this same product had a Toyota/Honda badge on it, I don't see how this wouldn't capture 90% of local crossover market. It's just the brand name and perception/caution in people for which the sales aren't as great. But if master-Changan doesn't do anything wrong and the car proves the test of time, I see it comfortably establishing a good place in the market
