Quick update on the strut situation - some potentially expensive lessons and jugar!
I initially did not want to go through the entire process of strut removal to fix spring shims (removal involved couple of suspension components to be removed to remove the strut) until I broke something Haha - while trying to mess around opening it without removal, I cracked/broke star key that helps hold down the shaft, and the key would just spin and further messing would've simply broken the shaft.
Yes, I know threads are dirty (that was one of the lessons)
So with over a week of messing around, I ended up removing the strut and used spring compressors to fix the orientation of spring shims and the spring itself.
It's de-shaped because I drove around like this for couple of months (well I drove once a week for the most part but it's been on like this for 3-4 months)
I wasn't able to loosen or tighten the strut shaft bolt because the darn thing won't stop spinning. I was not going to spend on a replacement strut (New $1,400 and used $350 or EDC coilovers $3,700). So I ended up putting painters tape on the shaft and used wise grips to hold it down and a impact wrench to tighten it.
And finally the strut it back in the truck and torqued down to spec.
@Xulfiqar - My driver's side camber adjustment is maxed out at the lower control arm, and it currently sits at -1.04 degrees but it should be around -55 degrees. Not sure how it can be fixed. Any recommendations?
