About the wooden paneling, I was under the impression that it's just a sticker of some sort. Isn't Rs. 15,000 a bit too much for a sticker? Or is it plastic molded and colored to look like wooden accents?

The stickers ones avalible are stick ons and are realy cheap, and are pasted on the current setup. They can be found for around Rs.1000 that included 4 doors, 2 trays, and i guess all ac grills, and the gear box casing every thing

The orignals ones are molded in such a way.

Thanks for the reply. I went and visited a local Toyota dealership, all excited to book me a nice "colored" XLi. The bas†ards there told me that Toyota Indus is not taking any more orders for colored cars. I guess the promotion just ended for us.

Anyways, they advised me if I want choice for a better color I should go for a GLi. I told them to gtf lost because I'd pick a 1.8 iVtec Civic over a GLi any day of the week for a bit more money. The salesman also advised us that "investors" will be selling colored XLi's soon and they'll be charging 25-30k Rs as "dividend" on their "investments". I say ƒuçk these investors and ƒuçk Indus.

In short, Toyota Indus lost a customer today with their shoddy marketing strategies. I'll import myself a JDM car.

Xli is a sheer disgrace to Corolla. A 2010 model top selling sedan from toyota and without anything "Powered'. Un ka bas chalta to 1000cc engine detey.

Brother power windows dont mean anything.
If the car was offered with ABS and airbags wagera its a good ride.
Everywhere around the world, the base model of corolla is offered without power windows but it has all the basic safety features abs wagera.
We should be complaining about safety in xli but we are again complaining about windows which is minor.

You are absolutely correct. ABS is the least Toyota Indus can bestow upon us poor masses waiting for a miracle. Like I mentioned earlier, even PakSuzuki has the common sense and presence of mind to offer an Immobilizer (not even present in Aaaltiss) and ABS+EBD in 1.06 million car like Swift, and of course, powered windows, central locking and a plethora of colors came standard in even Baleno.
