Check the label when you buy. Most will say pre-diluted, which means it's already mixed with water. Otherwise they may say on the instructions that you need to water.

if your radiator is aluminium core than use ethylene glycol based coolant. usually the best ethylene glycol based pre mixed coolant is toyota 3.78 Litre pack. the coolant color is redish/pink.

every coolant sold commercially is ethylene glycol based, - the problem is the additional salts in it are not compatible with other types.

meaning - do not mix IAT (old bright green coolant) with new HOAT/OAT coolant unless you want to have a blown headgasket and other headaches.

i dont think every coolant sold commercially in pakistan is ethylene glycol based. usually ethylene glycol based coolant have specifically mentioned on the packing and cost more than the other coolants in our local market.

Go check again. The only weird, non compliant coolant is the evans one which is polypropylene glycol but its not sold commercially.

All others are ethylene glycol based, even local unknown names.

no its not. please understand we are talking about pakistan. have u seen osaka, aisin, honda type 1, nasa etc coolant packs in pakistan? all of these are non ethylene glycol based.

they are all ethylene glycol based - its sold in drums everyday from Karachi chemical market on Denso Hall. Its not an expensive item either.

The add pack to make it IAT or OAT or HOAT comes later.

It seems that you also suffer from "vilayatee imported maal" syndrome - Sorry cannot help you then,

I know for sure that pyro chemicals, NASA chemicals (in their silly 1200 ml bottles) and even the other private brands like taha etc. were all EG based coolants with IAT add pack blended later on.

I have been using caltex concentrated coolant of 1 litres mixed with 2 litres of deionized/distilled water. That makes it 30% coolant and 70% of water. Till now havent faced any problems so far in my Mehran. Working with thermostat valve and automatic radiator fan switch.

you are supposed to use a 50% mix for the coolant to give its proper system protection, Its an OAT coolant and requires a constant contact with surface to protect unlike the ancient shiny green type that made a silicated salt coating on internal parts

replenish the concentration to 50% - its a 100,000 kms coolant anyway - very low running cost.
