Toyota Indus is calling all Yaris variants delivered between December 21 and Feb 22 for tightening of rear wheel hub assembly bolts to spec. I was called by Toyota Rawal yesterday and I went there today. The idiot tech there raised my car up without placing the rubber buffer pieces in the rear and scratched the car where the lift was touching the car. Very sad about this. Not going to Toyota Rawal ever again Insha Allah.

I found out , there is no speaker in the back door of Yaris and harness. There is none at rawal motors as well and if you get after market , you lose warranty.. what the piece of sh.. these indus people are, how costly, would the speakers be? petty things, yet hard to resolve

1.5 ativ is supposed to have 6 speakers. So i am not sure if some are missing.

On the GLi varient the speaker wiring is available till the last grip on (the body side) that connects body harness to door harness. From door you have to pull the wire till the speakers.

In easy words, the speaker wire is available till the black rubber boots that can be seen when the rear door is opened. A good installer knows how to connect it further.

Another issue has popped up in my Yaris ativ x CVT. Normally there is only 1 tik sound when the indicator lock is engaged while turning the steering wheel to auto-cancel the indicator. But for the last 2-3 days there are 5-6 tik sounds when I turn the steering wheel to the right. Has anyone else faced this issue?

Aoa. I have driven my ATIV X for 500 kms now. The experience so far is very good. However, i have noted the following two things:

1. The pressure of air coming from the AC is very good for middle vents, however, for remaining vents, its sub-par; and
2. Whenever I drive on an uneven road, a light irritating noise comes from the lock of front seat passenger door. As per my friend, this is normal assemble issue and can be easily fixed.

Is anyone also facing similar issue?

Nahin Karo Yaar... I have taken decission to Book Yaris 1.5 CVT just because of Toyota Branch and secondly because of this thing key gaari kharakti nahin hey jaldi kerkey....I have become confused by going through the problems which were discussed in this forum related to yaris..The main concern is side air vent issue this is very irritating for me....

The center armrest is a pain too.
Literally it serves no purpose other than occupying rear center seat legroom.

When i saw armrest first time, i said it is totally disconnected with the center console. Looks like that Indus fitted the center console of some other car. It was the first disappointment and the other was side vents, no air throw.

Go with it. Climate Con in 1.5 Ativ X is better and side vents issue goes to minimal. I was also confused but its a good car overall. Good on fuel as well. Sturdy build. Ye to ab use ziada kr li to nuqs phur hum ne nikalne hi hain

Please take a look at the link, completely resolves the Issue. The built quality seems a bit low but atleast this will make driver comfort as well, creating space for the back seat.
