70k is too much for 1kr half assembly, recently I enquired prices of 1kr from peshawar & they were asking 55k for 1kr assembly + adjusting your old assembly for 7-8k.

Yes he can. And the current CVT gear is perfectly compatible with 2sz, so no mess of changing axles etc. You just need to buy engine with uncut wiring + ECU. Just need to buy new engine mounts & exhaust system otherwise everything is bolt-on.Even 2sz is less in price than 1kr, in peshwar they were quoting 38-40k for 2sz + they said it took 2-4 hours for this swap
get it rebuild ed from an authentic shop assembly swap is not a good idea if you do had plans to run on full synth 5w-30 for better engine and economy performance.
a brand new like condition assembly hardly driven 20 K costs around 90 k plus the assemblies available in 50 -60 K range are junk engine's
get it rebuild ed dont swap the assembly you will face the same situation.
Salaam Guys..I have a toyota vitz 2010 model. I am facing severe vibration problem whenever I drive my car between 20 km/h to 60 km/h (i.e. in 2nd gear) with slow acceleration . If I press the pedal hard, vibrations disappear. This behavior is observed in D mode only and is a real pain. Car's odometer is at 100000 km now. I told this problem to many mechanics but they could not solve this problem. Instead, they suggested for an engine swap. Has anyone else faced this problem? How can I solve this problem? Plus is there any reliable mechanic for vitz in Lahore?

Assalam u alikum.I have just purchased Vitz 2010/2013. Engine is changed and new engine is registered on the Book by the previous owner. Engine number starts with 1KR----. How would I know if this engine is of the same model car? Previous owner told that he got it changed by the Toyota in 80K PKR. The middle man was a friend and he convinced me that "Japanese car men engine change hona is better than repaired". I am very new and do not know much about the cars so I am confused. Please
Vitz mostly comes with 1KR-FE engine which is 1000cc. So yes its engine has been replaced with same model’s engine. Usually people replace engine instead of repairing it as not many out there can do an overhauling job for 1KR-FE. Now that you have purchased the car, enjoy it

Use only Full Synthetic Motor oil and the viscosity should not go beyond 0W-30 , 5W-30 API SN, ILSAC GF-4,GF-5 ACEA A1/B1, A5/B5 Motor oil. It prevents the sludge buildup and doesn't deteriorate at higher engine temperature's.

Dear Rajaatta,I have vitz 2007 model. I am continously facing knocking issue in this, when i use hi octane then this issue resolves for the time being but not permanentIy. Its sound is like driving the manual car slowly in 4th gear and tak tak tak sounds come. Its 126K driven, kindly give your valueable opinion about this. Some body told me that Oxygen sensor and spark plugs are the main culprits
