Recently I have been seeing a lot more Vitaras on the roads of Karachi. I have come across all the colors PS marketed except Black. I think the most abundant is the White on Karachi streets.
So far I have done around 4000 kms on my vitara. It is running smoothly. Fuel average is still the same as I initially reported...16-17 on a long run and 11-12 on smaller roads....this is with the climate control on as well as on Auto drive mode. On Sports Mode vehicle becomes quite responsive but fuel average drops as well.
Please remember fuel average depends on driving habits. Usually hard start/stop, sudden acceleration affect these averages. Oh and if you are not getting a very high fuel average, it does not make you a bad driver. It has a lot to do with where you are driving. Smaller roads with lots of traffic and signals just doesn't let you get better averages.
I am making ample use of the Cruise Control option on the longer routes ( for those of you who know Karachi roads....Shahrah e faisal to be precise). I commute about 50 km every day and this vehicle makes the commute quite comfortable for me.
I am finding the parking sensors quite helpful. Be it parking in small spaces or trying to get out of tight spaces because otheRs have parked too closely, these sensors are definitely more helpful than any camera I have used.
But what i really enjoy is that once in a while when one feels a bit uppity, one can turn ON the Sports Mode and feel a little adrenalin rush....
