In SoCal, you must be thinking that this car is not at all limited production. I see couple of SL63s too!

Have you driven CL65? If no then I'd highly recommend that. Make sure to go on freeway as those things are not about 0-60 but 60-150. they are simply luxury rockets (y)

why are u comparing a 6.2 liter car to a 4 liter car. the m3 has 414 hp while the clk63 has 500, so u cant compare the 2. anyway m3 makes about 103.5hp per litre whereas the clk produces a mere 80hp per litre so im sure its not engineered as well as the m3. that clk is "AMG+BLACK SERIES" so please.... why do u even bother to compare the two. compare it with tuned m3 or something. and the clk63 is not a track car. its mostly a straight line acceleration car. m3 is much better on the track

Actually i've just seen one CLK Black on the road, it was white. Yeah there were a few SL63's and various other "garden variety" AMG's but didn't take any pics.

Haven't driven the CL65 yet but I want to.

I'm only comparing the M3 to the C63 because they are direct competitors. Just because an engine doesn't make at least 100hp/liter doesn't mean that it's not well engineered. If a motor is strung out in such a way you have to rev the crap out of it and also lose out big time on the torque. Also, I never directly compared the CLK63 Black to the M3. Don't get me wrong...I still love BMW and appreciate what goes into them. And btw, the CLK Black Series is far from being just a straight line car.
